    Enjoy a full day discovering the most beautiful villages of Provence with visits to St Remy, Les Baux de Provence and Roussillon.

    Duration of tour: 10 hours

    The Tour

    A comprehensive tour of Provence - land of sunshine and colour, with luminous landscapes and a delightful climate. After a panoramic tour of Avignon, we stop at the famous site of Le Pont du Gard (built in the year 1 AD) and a visit of Les Baux de Provence. You will continue to St Remy and after a view at the Roman monuments, you will have free time to visit a traditional provencal market and you will have time for lunch (own expense). You will then travel on to see the most beautiful villages of Provence with a stop at Roussillon, with its amazing cliffs and after a stop in the picturesque village of Gordes, you will visit the Lavender Museum and see the lavender fields (blooming period is from July to August). Then it is on to L'Isle sur la Sorgue, a village famous for antique shops.

    Transportation by minibus, commentary by a driver-guide, stop at le Pont du Gard, at St Remy, Roussillon, Gordes, guided visit of Les Baux de Provence, entrance and guided visit to the Lavender Museum.

    Please note:

    Please note that free time for lunch on your own is in a provencal market in Gordes on Tuesdays, in Saint Remy de Provence on Wednesdays, in Bonnieux on Friday and L'Isle sur la Sorgue on Sunday. The order of visits will then change accordingly. No market will be visited during winter, from November till March. A driver-guide in a minibus undertakes this tour. The Lavender Museum is closed in January. Please note that this tour is sold as a combination of two tours. Therefore, there might be some waiting time involved to pick up and drop off clients before the afternoon portion of the tour continues.
