A combined guided tour of art and history to the 'Garden of France', the Loire Valley.

During the Renaissance period, the Loire Valley was the favourite place of kings of France and their courtiers. They left us many castles of amazing architectural elegance. Art and history combined with a certain sweetness of life in this region known as the 'Garden of France'. Your route will take you along the motorway L'Aquitaine as far as Chambord. A guided visit of the most important castle of the Loire Valley. You will continue your tour with a guided visit of Cheverny. You will also enjoy a guided visit to the elegant Renaissance castle of Chenonceau in the afternoon. The flash map for this tour displays the route of the tour in Summer. Transportation by coach, entrance and guided visit of three castles.
Lunch is not included in the rate of the tour during summer (1st April - 31st October), however you will have free time to take lunch on your own. During winter (1st November - 31st March) lunch is included. Please also note that on Saturdays between 1st April - 30th September, Amboise will be visited instead of Cheverny. On Saturdays during October, Amboise will be visited instead of Chambord. Please note that your tour will terminate at the Cityrama Office. You must report to your departure point 15 minutes prior to your pick up time. Renovation works will be taking place to the facade of the castle of Chenonceau, but this will not cause any disruption to tours.
