In this one day tour, you will be amazed by the Claude Monet's house and gardens at Giverny and the faboulous Palace of Versailles.

Claude Monet spent half of his life in Giverny, inspired by the beautiful, peaceful and colourful countryside. His pink house has once again found its colourful decor and original charm, together with its priceless collection of Japanese prints. This tour includes a guided visit to the wonderful flower gardens and the famous Japanese bridge. There will be free time to visit Monet's home and former studio (unescorted). After lunch you will visit Versailles, a reminder of the grandeur of classical French architecture. The extravagant decoration and layout of the entire site reflects the will of King Louis XIV, known as the Sun King. In the beautifully decorated State Apartments (which contain the Hall of Mirrors and the Queen's Apartments) your guide will thrill you with information on the lives of the kings. At the end you will enjoy some free time to stroll in the gardens.
Transportation by coach, guided visit to Monet's gardens, lunch (drinks not included) at Le Moulin de Fourges and guided visit to the State Apartments in Versailles.
You must report to your departure point 15 minutes prior to your pick up time. When the fountains are playing (on Saturdays and some French bank holidays) the entrance to the gardens at Versailles are not included in the price of the tour. EUR 8.00 will be payable on the spot if you wish to enter.
